We collect the following information when you use Bhakti Lock:
- Google account information (name, email address, profile photo) when you sign in
- Daily spiritual practice data (jap counts, streaks, session history)
- Selected deity and mantra preferences
- App lock configuration (which apps you choose to lock)
- Subscription status and purchase history (via Google Play)
- Device FCM token for push notifications
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide the Bhakti Lock service:
- Track your daily spiritual practice and streaks
- Manage app lock functionality
- Process and verify subscription payments
- Send devotional reminders via push notifications (with your permission)
- Improve app performance and fix bugs
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore), protected by industry-standard encryption. We use Firebase Security Rules to ensure users can only access their own data.
We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.
4. Accessibility Service
Bhakti Lock uses Android Accessibility Service to detect when a locked app is opened.
This service does not read, store, or transmit any content from other apps. It only detects app launch events to show your daily practice screen.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google Firebase — Authentication, database, push notifications
- RevenueCat — Subscription management
- Google Play Billing — Payment processing
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by using the "Delete Account" option in Settings or by contacting us at privacy@bhaktilock.app.
7. Children's Privacy
Bhakti Lock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
- Access your data — available in the app

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes via in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
